Steep 3 was the best balance. Final concentrated steep used about 80 ml for 2–3 minutes and produced a caramel/toffee-like aftertaste.
Wet aroma: Minty floral
Taste: Steep 1 green and grassy; steep 2 mature elegant floral; steep 3 rounder, thicker and sweeter; steep 4 begins mellowing
Mouthfeel: Thin at first, fuller on steep 2 and thickest on steep 3; slight throat coating
Finish: Floral retronasal and sweet finish; final concentrated steep gives Alpenliebe-like caramel/toffee
